2025 Season is a wrap! We are so grateful to all the wonderful visitors to our farm, we loved having you and hearing about your fun time picking yummy bluebs. Hope you put some away in one form or another for savoring throughout the rest of the year! See you in 2026!!!
Welcome to the blueberry farm! We grow ’em, you pick ’em! You will be able to pick your own, or purchase pre-harvested blueberries (by the pound). The fruit is AMAZING this year, and after a beautiful spring, we’re all really ready to dive in! We will also have already-picked berries for sale at the farm if you’d like to stock up.
Read the rules, get your coolers ready to get the blueberries back home, and come prepared to enjoy the peaceful mountain mornings on the farm.
Hours:
CLOSED FOR THE 2025 SEASON. CHECK BACK IN MAY 2026 FOR UPDATES. Saturday & Sunday, 7 am to 10 am arrival. Picking ends by 11:00 am. We wrap everything up by 11 sharp, so please respect the stop time. It’s REALLY hot the later you come, so for the best experience, come early.
Rules:
- Walk-ins welcome during open hours, other times by appointment only.
- Get directions (see below).
- We love pets, but please leave yours home – for food safety and the health of the animals, we absolutely cannot permit outside pets on the farm. Due to the heat, please do not expect to leave your animals in your vehicle.
- No smoking or fire of any kind.
- Wear closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, and hats – we have many potential hazards and are far from medical assistance.
- Bring lots of water and stay hydrated.
- Kids are welcome but must be supervised closely. This is a working farm which is a lot different than a playground.
We’ll provide lined buckets for your picking pleasure. The cost is $6.50/lb. The liners lift out for you to conveniently transport your gems home. Please bring cash, small bills welcome; Venmo may be an option, but our cellular service is spotty, and doesn’t always work up here. We won’t have access to credit card transactions this week.
All ages are welcome, but please remember that this is a working farm, and there are natural hazards. We encourage families with young children to closely supervise them while visiting, and to not leave them unattended.
Directions:
Hwy 32 E to Forest Ranch (16 miles). Turn right on Schott Road (about 1 mile past the “town”). Follow Schott Road 3 1/2 miles (windy mountain road, down to the creek and back up the other side to Doe Mill Ridge). When Schott Road ends at the Doe Mill Y, stay straight on Doe Mill Road (do not go left/up on Doe Mill). In one mile, pass Summerplace Road and take the 1st driveway on the right – 12767 Doe Mill Road (look for signs directing visitors). Turn into driveway and stop at the check-in station for parking instructions.
Cell coverage is spotty in the canyon, but there is a Verizon tower in Forest Ranch, and there are places with limited signal.
Please use caution on the drive in, regardless of the isolated feel, there are a surprising number of vehicles that travel here! Slow down on blind corners and gravel, and enjoy the journey!
